Peter is Managing Partner at Clareo and Co-Founder of and Board Chair at The Development Partner Institute.
He brings a unique, pragmatic and progressive perspective to the fund. Peter works with and advises organizations globally that span the whole of energy value chain including leading companies in the O&G, mining and power sector to major consumers of energy in industries like steel, works with leading nonprofits and engages with leaders in the investment world. Peter also interacts with resource ministers from around the world via an annual gathering hosted by the WEF. He is active in the startup world spanning clean energy incubators/accelerators, emerging companies and the connecting of these to the corporate world. He is widely published and quoted on this topic, including in the WSJ, often brings together thought leaders for provocative discussions and speaks globally at conferences on the energy transition and how innovation is at the core of the transition ahead.
He lives in Southern California and has two teenage daughters, one a freshman in high school and one a sophomore at SMU. Peter has been in the US since 1996 but grew up In New Zealand and he has many passions but the All Blacks and rugby top the list!
