Lauren is a social scientist and impact investor with particular expertise in quantifying impact. She’s passionate about the importance of innovative tech in solving humanity’s most intractable problems, and believes deeply in the importance of stronger links between founders, investors, and scientists. Lauren’s run impact assessments throughout sub-Saharan Africa and India, and has consulted for organizations including the UN and USAID. She studied at Yale, Harvard, and Oxford, and started her career at McKinsey.
An American transplant in Germany, she desperately misses the sugary breakfast cereals (Lucky Charms, anyone?) of her youth.
